I am participating in the world-wide blog giveaway again this year.


Lisa "oceandreamer" Swifka is hosting One World One Heart; this is the 2nd year for me to participate. Last year was so much fun, ~ Deirdra Doan won my prize last time round. I met a lot of great people in the 2008 event and some I have become friends with over the past year.

To win the prize, all you have to do is leave a comment ON THIS POST only, with your name and email address and you'll be signed up. Then, your name will be put into the hat for a chance to win. If up to 100 people leave a comment on this post, I will give the OJ lid collage I've created, (above) away. If more than 100 people leave comments, I will add another prize for each additional 100 comments. And who knows, I may just add another little treasure or two when it comes time to mail out the prize(s)!

Cool present to show off

Just had to show off an awesome gift I was given this Christmas by someone who obviously knows me very well! It's a gorgeous box with Van Gogh's sunflowers. I think I actually squealed with delight when I ripped of the wrapping paper off this one! Inside I discovered four china mugs depicting four of Vincent's paintings: Irises, Vincent's Bedroom in Arles, Sunflowers and Langlois Bridge at Arles. Hopefully someday soon I can pull out these special cups to serve a piping hot cup of tea and crumpets to a friend or two or three. Maybe it'll be you. Happy New Year everyone!
