The Scream

My son wanted to attend his university costume party as Edvard Munch's The Scream (and fully expected me to create the costume for him.
Naturally, I went to one of my favorite dollar stores ~ Everything for a Dollar Store and purchased a sheet of Styrofoam-ish stuff. Using Munch's painting as a guide, I cut a hole in the appropriate spot and commenced painting my version of the painting with the cheapest of my acrylic paints.

I think The Scream was frightened by these paintings!

Cost of Costume: $1.05 including tax
Fun Factor: Priceless

No Karyn, I didn't paint the flower paintings, but I thought it would be funny to have the scream "visiting an art gallery" :}
